At TechSeven, we value people over products and partnerships over contracts. We love the communities we live in and are glad to serve in and share them with you and your team.

This holiday season, we want to get to know each of you a little better. So, we asked our team members three holiday questions and posted their answers here.

We would love for each of you to answer the same questions in the comments section below. We will send a little holiday cheer in the form of a Starbucks gift card to the best answer and/or picture submitted.

The Questions

Santa At what age did you realize Santa was not real?

Favorite Gift What was the best gift you received as a child during the holidays?

Would You Rather  a) Own a flying reindeer? or b) Eat as much cookies and milk as you like and not gain an ounce?

The Answers

Andy

Santa: I learned that Santa wasn’t real when I was 9. I caught my older sisters snooping in my parent’s room looking for presents.

Favorite Gift:  My favorite Christmas gift would be my first BMX race bike. When I first started racing I was riding an old heavy Schwinn bike with coaster brakes. The new bike was lighter with cantilever brakes and it looked so cool.

Would You Rather:  A flying reindeer would be great. I could cruise over the top of all the traffic and it would make getting places much faster!

Blake

Santa: I learned Santa wasn’t real at an early age and it’s my own fault! I was the kid wandering around the house looking for presents and staying up late trying to get a peek of Santa dropping off presents until I found my parents doing the dropping off. I played along for a while and the rest is history.

Favorite Toy: This question is an easy one for me. I was 5 or 6 and I got a Ghostbuster’s Proton Pack. It was awesome! I thought I was a real Ghostbuster!

Would You Rather: I like to eat and I love cookies, but you can hold the milk unless it’s chocolate milk.

Josh

Santa:  I learned that Santa wasn’t real when I was 10 years old. My mom talked about buying my younger brother’s present the year before and I said, “Mom, wasn’t that from Santa?!” She looked at me with that mom look that said “Don’t you dare ruin it for your your brother!” with the shush sign over her lips.

Favorite Gift: Favorite present was, without question, Atari. My mom messed with us by wrapping and giving us the cartridges only. When we asked, “Where’s the console?!” She said, “What’s a console?” A minute later she went upstairs and came down with the wrapped nugget of gold we had waited for all season! It was pretty sweet.

Would You Rather: Definitely a flying reindeer. The possibilities are endless!

Richelle

Santa: Oh boy…I was 10 years old. Santa was a big deal in our house. I was the only kid I knew who would get letters from him throughout the year with little gifts inside. So when my Mom casually mentioned he wasn’t real one day, I was devastated and lived in denial for about 6 months. That cost me a few therapy sessions (smiles).

Favorite Toy: I would have to say my Huffy Laredo Banana Seat bike. My best friend got the very same one that year and we rode everywhere together.

Would You Rather: Flying reindeer for sure! Although switch out the cookies and milk for hot wings and Guinness and that would be a game changer!

Steve

Santa: I was around 8 or 9 years old. I think one of my brothers spoiled it for me, although I can’t remember completely. Must have blocked that sad moment out…

Favorite Gift: It would definitely have been my BMX bike. I was the envy of all my friends!

Would You Rather: The flying reindeer. I could go anywhere anytime!!
