Have you ever written an email late at night, on a weekend, or while on vacation, but hesitated to hit Send?
Maybe you don’t want clients thinking you’re working around the clock. Maybe you don’t want employees feeling pressured to respond after hours. Or maybe you’ve simply drafted an email you need delivered at a more appropriate time.
That’s where Outlook’s Schedule Send feature comes in.
Why Use Schedule Send?
Schedule Send allows you to write an email now and have Outlook automatically deliver it later.
Some common uses include:
- Writing emails after business hours without disrupting recipients
- Preparing messages before a vacation or business trip
- Scheduling reminders and follow-ups in advance
- Ensuring important emails arrive when recipients are most likely to read them
- Reducing the chance of forgetting to send a critical message
Instead of relying on drafts, sticky notes, or calendar reminders, you can let Outlook handle the timing for you.
